Its research interests focus on the following areas of Artificial Intelligence: Machine Learning, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Planning.

The Library and Information Center (LIC) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was founded in 1927. It is the second largest nationwide library after the National Library, the largest and best organized library in Northern Greece and one of the largest in the Balkans. LIC was one of the first Greek libraries to develop innovative digital services, such as online information, online courses, depository of doctoral and postgraduate dissertations, digitization of collections, Institutional Repository of Scientific Papers, management of scientific publications.
